Pitars' Tureis wins the silver medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2014

We are thrilled to announce you that PITARS has won one Silver medal and has obtained two Commended in the world’s largest wine competition, the 2014 Decanter World Wine Awards.
All Pitars wines on competition have had obtained a recognition, approving the production quality as historic wine Company in San Martino al Tagliamento, PN.
A Friulano, Sauvignon and Chardonnay blend, white wine, great and very intence.
SERIS 2012, white blend of Chardonnay and Sauvignon, very smooth, floreal, with notes of ripe peach.
SAUVIGNON Braida Santa Cecilia 2013 - Pale Yellow with intence aroma of Ichee, yellow bell pepper, tropical fruits. Aromatic and long on the palate, good acidity, slightly dry and historic wine or real character.


The Decanter World Wine Awards (www.decanter.com/dwwa) is the world’s largest and most influential wine competition. 2014 saw another record-breaking year of entries, with over 15,000 wines entered into the competition from 46 countries.
A panel of over 200 world-class judging experts, including Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, wine writers, buyers and important members of the wine trade carefully taste their way through each of the wine entries. Each entry is tasted blind, individually discussed by the panel, and judges award the top wines with a Decanter medals.
The Winners will be announced at the Decanter World Wine Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 24 June, held at London’s Blue Fin Building.
