One of the best of Friuli's red wines. When quickly fermented with the peel, resulting in an easy to drink wine, intense and herbal, with a lovely grape flavour. After a long fermentation the wine is round, full bodied, tannic and rich of aromas. It ages very well.
Young: with cold meat dishes; aged: a good companion to toast, game, seasoned dishes and aged cheeses.
